How might we facilitate a more efficient menu viewing and calorie tracking system for senior citizen home residents?
Introducing, Svastha.
By integrating menu viewing and calorie tracking, the app makes data accessibility easy and efficient. Svastha offers various features, including allergy alerts for dietary safety, seamless checking of item readiness status, and precise notifications of when favorite dishes will be served next, enhancing meal satisfaction. Seniors can also order meals to their room without hassle, ensuring convenience and comfort. The daily calorie tracker empowers them to monitor food intake closely, promoting healthier habits and providing valuable insights into their well-being. With these features, Svastha transforms mealtime into a streamlined, health-conscious experience, ensuring senior citizens stay informed, safe, and in control of their nutrition.
But, why do we need Svastha? 🍲
Svastha addresses critical needs identified in my research at Serene Adinath, a senior citizen home. Currently, residents rely on outdated methods like receiving meal images or visiting the kitchen directly to check menus, which are inconvenient and inefficient. Moreover, despite facing challenges in managing their food consumption, none of the senior citizens use dietary monitoring apps.
